Internships at MKS&H
MKS&H offers paid internships in a variety of business areas such as accounting and marketing. Internships are an important part of the college experience and provide opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and to actively participate in a variety of projects. Not only do internships provide a great entry in the experience section of your resume, they also offer a way to develop both professionally and personally. But don't take our word for it. Here is what some of our past interns have said about our program. Interning for MKS&H's marketing department gave me practical business experience that genuinely enhanced my knowledge of business and marketing, both in and out of the classroom. Everyone made me feel a part of the team. At college, I had heard so many horror stories about internships. I thought that I would be getting coffee, answering phones, and doing everything else but learning the profession. But at MKS&H, that has never happened. I learn something new everyday and the people that work here take time out to teach, explain, and listen to me. I've been in situations where my ideas and thoughts were never taken into consideration, but here I have been able to come up with an idea and watch it grow. The lessons that I've learned at MKS&H have been more beneficial to me than any lesson I could learn in the walls of a classroom. From the start of my internship I felt like a member of the MKS&H team. I never felt like I was just an intern. I was free to share my ideas and my questions were always answered. It's not a place were you file papers and make copies all day. Every project, no matter how big or small, is important. There is always something different to do, so you have to be flexible to switch gears and keep up. It keeps you on your toes! I benefited from my time with MKS&H and I would do it again.
