Nicole Szarko is a principal with McLean, Koehler, Sparks &
Hammond and is a key leader in the firm’s Hunt Valley accounting
and auditing practice. With more than 12 years of experience,
Nicole is responsible for auditing various non-profit
organizations in the area — delivering a proven methodology and
documentation approach, excellence in execution, and a
commitment to quality and controls. In addition, Nicole has
extensive experience in a variety of other industries including
insurance, manufacturing and distribution. Nicole has utilized
her expertise to assist in internal control analysis and design,
obtaining financing, cash flow forecasting, operational reviews,
controllership duties, agreed upon procedure engagements and
various other matters.
Nicole received a Bachelor’s degree from Towson State
University. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Nicole serves
as member of her home owners association, Heritage Heights. She
also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public
Accountants.
