Margaret Wilson is a principal with McLean, Koehler, Sparks and Hammond, and division leader of the firm’s organizational consulting and family business advisory division, Tandem Partners.  Margaret uses over 20 years of experience to focus her consulting work in helping family-owned and owner-managed businesses address challenges such as ownership and management transitions, family and business partner relationships, organization development, strategic planning, communication and conflict management. Margaret and the professionals at Tandem Partners utilize a combination of business strategy, organizational dynamics, behavioral science and business management to help leaders manage change and enhance corporate performance.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from The Johns Hopkins University. Margaret received the Certificate in Family Business Advising from The Family Firm Institute and is a graduate of Leadership-Baltimore County.

Active in her profession and the business community, Margaret is a member of the Organization Development Network and the Family Firm Institute. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Baltimore’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Center, as well as the Center’s Family Business Community Committee.

Melissa J. McDaniel is Director of Human Resources Consulting for MKS&H’s organization consulting division. Melissa works with both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations on issues related to workforce strategy, performance management and human resources compliance.

Melissa focuses her consulting work in helping business owners remain competitive in challenging labor market environments. She maximizes human capital opportunities for clients through leadership training, employee development, and organizational communication.

She is a certified Professional in Human Resources, a certification awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), signifying her demonstrated mastery of knowledge in the human resources field.

Melissa is also a Qualified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the most widely used personality instrument world-wide. The MBTI is a popular training tool for professional development and organizational improvement in all types of organizations. Melissa has had considerable success in guiding business teams in the practical and useful application of personality type.

In addition to her experience in the human resources field, Melissa has an extensive background in organizational systems design and operations management. She is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Frederick County, Maryland Chapter of SHRM.

Gina Resch is an HR Business Partner with Tandem Partners. As a senior professional in human resources, Gina provides on-site HR management and HR consulting services to clients. She works closely with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations on issues related to workforce strategy, recruiting and retention, training and development and HR risk management.

Gina has more than 20 years of experience in the field of human resources and business management, including more than 10 years of experience in federal contract security and configuration management. She has developed skills in compensation, recruitment, on-boarding, HR compliance, employee relations, EEO/affirmative action, performance coaching and management. A skilled trainer, Gina holds certifications in interview and selection techniques, as well as supervisor-employee interaction.

Gina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is actively involved with the Chesapeake Human Resources Association, Society for Human Resources Management and the Hunt Valley Business Forum. In addition to her successful career in HR management, Gina founded and operated an equestrian products company from 2004 – 2006.
