Mary-Kay Leary, CPA is a partner with McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond and the leader of the Hunt Valley tax department. She works closely with retail, manufacturing and professional service firms, including legal and medical practices. Mary-Kay has 20 years of experience assisting businesses, organizations and individuals regarding tax planning and compliance, retirement and education planning, multi-state taxation issues, business start-up and management. In addition, she assists new businesses with start-up requirements, business plans, policies and procedures and internal controls.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson State University, and is pursuing a Masters degree in Taxation at the University of Baltimore. Mary-Kay is treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Montessori School of Central Maryland. She is also a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
